Tag: Weird Things About Me

Playing catch up with my overdue tags :D Got this from the lovely Joann Kee, thanks.

  • I arrange dollar notes in my purse from the smallest value to the biggest (I also arrange them on hubs’ when I see his wallet). I believe by using this method, it reduces the amount of time I need to pull the right notes out, hehe!

  • When I eat nasi lemak, I save the egg for last. When I eat char koay teow, I save the prawns for last.

  • When I prepare food for cooking, I separate them into different containers/plates/bowls (like how you see in a cooking show) else I’d feel terribly disorganised and will forget to add what’s been prepared

  • I cut out bread crusts on every slice from the whole loaf, then put the slices back into the plastic bag so I could have crust free bread whenever I needed it

  • I don’t eat red meat and some other white meat because the sight and smell horrifies me (it’s all in the mind)

  • Dislikes tomato sauce as dippings!

Most people must have already done this tag a stone age ago. So I’ll let it rest here, hehe! Next tag to follow, where I’ll list what my previous occupations were.

    FULAMAK!! You are super organised. Cut off all the crust in the whole loaf and put the loaf back in the bag?

    All your ingredients in separate dishes before cooking?? Wah, typical chef wor.

    Now I know you like eggs and prawns….leave the best for last.

    At least you have notes to arrange them in size order. I am lucky if I have coins! Wahahaha…

I guess I am a freak to cut off bread crusts like that :P But I keep the crusts to feed the ducks at the pond. No ler, if I dont separate them, I kelam kabut until can forget to add the ingredients one, haha! Aiyo c’mon Judy, u wanna kid me ah? Of course u dont hv notes or coins, u only use ur Gold Card ok!

    haha…. I do that dollar note thing too esp since USD look all the same. If dun arrange, might end up paying wrong amt : ) The crust cutting is very interesting hehehe…… reminds me of the bread we buy from the kopitiam that already has the entire crust cut off. : )

    wow! we have the same weirdness with the preparation of food before cooking – yup, it’s more organized that way especially having a kid also wanting to help with cooking!! LOL

With my clumsiness and being a lousy cook, I have forgotten many times to add ingredients that’s been prepared. I guess organizing them is the only way to ensure I cook correctly. I hope to get out of this routine someday.

    we use credit cards mostly but i still arrange the notes like you. but didn’t bother to arrange yeloh-powah’s wallet. after he says me kpc pula. ketchup is my fave! use for french fries dipping … yummy!

Unbelievable what he keeps in there, old receipts, papers, wallet like tong sampah. He also dunno what’s in there at times.

    I’m quite curious why you dislike tomato sauce for dipping ah?

I dunno, I’m just weird, I never like tomato or any sour tasting fresh/cooked food (except junk food) for eg. I never eat Assam Laksa. There is no explanation, just plain weird I guess :D

    Thanks for doing the tag! I used to arrange my notes, but now with credit cards, I don’t have much (most of the time, nothing) to arrange and with Ethan when I just want to get out of the check-out asap I just stuff everything in including the receipt.

    Why don’t you eat bread crusts? They’re yummy especially when toasted. So do you give Bee crusts? What do you do with all the crusts you cut out? Feed the ducks? kekek…

Same here, after checking out, I simply insert the $ notes. Go home then arrange nicely, haha. I guess I’m sick of eating bread crusts (young time always eat bread, bread, bread … poor mah, always bread lah). I’m so sick of toasted bread I dont toast my bread anymore *LOL* Bee has to eat everything. I am not allowing her to pick up my bad habit. When she grows up more, I can’t let her see me doing that – I will prolly start eating crusts again *LOL*. Yes for now, we go to the nice pond nearby to feed the ducks.
