Getting healthy
… I hope! For the longest time (or years!) ever since I gave birth to my little girl, I had been trying to lose weight. It went well and quick the first few months after my childbirth (must be because I was breastfeeding at the time) but then I piled them all back on. Why? I know, it’s because I eat a lot especially when under stress.
I am once again trying to go back to a healthier physique inside out. Been eating a lot of vegies and lean white meat. No rice, no fast or junk food. However I need to start on some exercise in order to complement my healthy diet so that the weight loss would be more effective.
Now since the elliptical cross trainer I had been eyeing on is no longer within my price range, I might as well forget about it. I am thinking about doing power walking within my neighbourhood. That would be a good start.
Why not jog? Well it’s because our suburb and its surroundings are rather hilly. It would take a whole lot to jog up the steep roads, I’d probably faint within the first 5km.
