Wow I must be slowly losing my memory. Today I took my lil girl for her swimming lesson but our access card wouldn’t open the electronic automated gate to the pool. My first thought was that my card was faulty. So I checked my purse for the receipt on the whole term’s payment and was about to approach the service counter about my access card. As I looked at my receipt, I noticed the date for the next lesson paid was 22 July. How could it be? Today’s the 15th.

Then it suddenly occurred to me that last week and this week is the term break for the swim school. Lessons only resume on July 19th onwards. I checked the swim school flyer on the rack for the term dates and confirmed it.  Phew, good thing I did not embarass myself by going to the service counter.  Oh well, *LOL* I usually am quite diligent in marking my diary for any dates be it meetups, appointments, lessons, etc but this time I was obviously not so efficient!

I quickly changed my girl back into her casual clothes and we went to read plus borrowed some books at the library. Then my girl spent about 30 minutes at the playground before we proceeded to shop at Kmart and Coles.
