Tag: How I’d Spend AUD1.0 mil

Thanks JoAnn, for making me feel a million dollars as I am typing this *LOL*. I am pretty sure most of us have at one time or another, thought about what we’d do if we have a cool million dollars in our hands.

I remember back in the 1990′s, The Star newspaper ran a full page article suggesting what to do with a million Ringgit if you have it.

The last time I thought about this was many years ago when a million dollars was quite a substantial amount of money back then. However, ever since living in Sydney, a million dollars doesn’t mean much, really but of course, I don’t think we’ll ever see a million dollars in our bank account during our lifetime, no way!

Here’s what I think I would do if I suddenly (legitimately of course) gain such a staggering amount of money:

  • At least 10% to God’s ministries
  • Help with any member of the family if they are in urgent need of cash for education, medical, business, etc
  • Sponsor a child or more
  • Pay off most but not entirely, our mortgage
  • Any balance left, invest in our the little girl’s education fund

The above are just random thoughts. I could list different things if asked on different days :D I’m supposed to tag another 5 but as with all my overdue tags, most would have done this already. I’d like to hear from my good buddete, Gene on how she’ll spend a cool million CAD!

Hey, thanks for doing the tag. Aiyo, sorry ar, so long only notice. You’re a very generous person, rather give away the money than use on yourself. Didn’t even want to pay off all the mortgage.
